The content shall include but is not limited to the following:

·        Add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers.

·        Add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and decimals.

·        Compute simple interest problems.

·        Solve two-step equations.

·        Understand and be able to use variables.

·        Use order of operations to solve problems.

·        Round and make estimations.

 

Intended Outcomes:

After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:

  • Have the basic knowledge of math required to begin pre-algebra.

 

Grading:

Students are graded on all homework, including book work and worksheets; they are also graded on quizzes and tests.
