The content shall include but not limited to the following:
Special Note:
Proper instruction on safety and spotting techniques will be enforced on a daily basis. The workout routine will vary in intensity due to games and other events effecting physical performance.
Intended Outcomes:
After successfully
completing this course, the student will be able to:
· Increase speed, footwork, and strength
· Understand how the body reacts to different stimuli
· Have confidence in their daily tasks and have a greater appreciation and respect for their bodies
Grading:
Student grades will be based on a daily “six point rubric”:

On time, dressed for class, does all activities with a positive attitude and is respectful of self, others and equipment |

Most of the qualities of a 6, but may be late or has a bit of a poor attitude |

4-3 |
Most of the qualities of a 6, but has a couple of mishaps, late, or not the correct dress for class, disrespectful or doesn’t do all of the class activities |

Doesn’t dress for class, but still participates |

Shows up for class, but does not participate. This student will be asked to do some sort of work. (sweeping, cleaning, etc.) |
