This course will provide students with an opportunity to be involved in their community through various projects involving community service.

Intended Outcomes:

After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to:

· Gain and utilize leadership skills

· Organize and carry out projects, then review results

· Gain community service hours

· Improve the quality of their community

· Improve school atmosphere

· Gain a better understanding of economics and business

· Document hours and projects

Grading:

Students will be grade on the following criteria:

· Weekly Assignments (20%)

· Classroom and Campus Participation (20%)

· Sales Goals (20%)

· Journals and Time Sheets (10%)

· Attendance (10%)

· Service hours (out of class) (10%)

· Project reviews (10%)

The final exam will be a written paper validating their semester’s work and success. Increments are approximations. Grading scale will follow district policy.
